Hello! My name is Kal- I'm a freelance artist born and raised in Northern California with a BFA in New Media and a passion for storytelling through visual art. I've spent the last few years working independently as an illustrator, and I've had a particular spark for character design for graphic novels among past projects.

I've always been drawn to projects with emotional depth and distinct style. I love trying new skills and experimenting with different artistic methods. Stepping out of my comfort zone is a creative passion of mine, and I've made myself a versatile artist by doing so.

When I'm not working​​ I can be found at my sewing machine, eating some pavement on my roller skates, or tending to two very spoiled cats.
